Springtime at Bellevue Botanical Gardens

This spring engagement session at Bellevue Botanical Garden was seriously one for the books. The flowers were blooming, the light was dreamy, and these two couldn’t stop laughing together—which made my job so easy. I’m always looking for locations that feel peaceful and natural, and this spot delivered on all fronts. We wandered the garden paths, found the prettiest little pockets of golden light, and captured so many sweet, candid moments along the way. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, their adorable dog Kerry joined us for the last part of the shoot! She was full of personality and so much fun to photograph. I love when couples include their pets—it makes the session feel even more like them. As a Seattle-based engagement and lifestyle photographer, sessions like this are my favorite: relaxed, full of joy, and completely true to who you are.
